We're sharing our #1 most versatile white paint selection.
Bright white walls are still in high demand and remain a timeless, elevated look. It's no wonder that one of the most frequently asked questions we get is "what is your favorite white paint color?" As any designer will tell you, that's a bit of a loaded question. There is a lot more that affects paint's appearance on your wall beyond the color selection. The source of natural light (especially north versus south), the color temperature of your bulbs, the sheen of the paint, and even the texture of your walls will greatly impact the final results. This is why we always recommend testing a paint sample on your walls on-site prior to committing to a color selection.
With that said, we're going to share our number one go-to most versatile white paint selection that we love to use in homes.
SW 7005 Pure White
Here's the four main reasons we love Pure White:
It's a great bright neutral white that can be combined with warm or cold tones.
It usually preforms well regardless of which direction the natural light is coming from.
Pure White has more depth and softness to it than some of the brighter whites like Benjamin Moore's Chantilly Lace or Sherwin William's High Reflective White that sometimes can appear stark if not layered well.
While still leaning slightly on the warm-yellow side, the extremely subtle color tones make it more versatile than other common warm whites like Benjamin Moore's White Dove.
We know selecting the perfect paint color for your home is a big deal and getting it right is no easy task. If you need help making a color selection for your project, we'd love to help take the guess work out of it. Take a look at our design packages here.
We hope these tip helps you make your home beautiful!
